Alright, alright. My car isn't the greatest. But I still don't see why parking attendants feel the need to make fun of it. I have been working in downtown L.A. this week, and yesterday when I was pulling into the parking garage, the attendant stopped me and said, "don't you think it's about time to get a new car?" I gave him a sour smile and drove off. I could have come back with plenty of clever remarks, such as, "don't you think it's about time to get a new job?", but I was too frazzled at the moment. That is the second parking attendant that has criticized my car in the past few months. Maybe it's because so many people in L.A. drive such nice cars? But come on!
